In the course of writing The Last Night, I drafted over one hundred pages of backstory that remain essential moments in the lives of Ed, Alex, Ashley, Brian, and Meghan, which still resonate in the background of the finished book. Now, you get to read some of them for yourself.
These deleted scenes were not scraped because they didn’t work. Trust me, I have plenty of those. These scenes are extra character interactions that hit the cutting room floor because they slowed the story.
